FOR GRADUATE APPLICANTS
Apply knowing how the decision actually gets made
Most people applying to grad school are guessing. I spent ten years on the inside, reading files and sending the offers, and I help you apply with that knowledge on your side.
Why listen to me
Nearly 20 years in higher education, ten of them inside UC graduate admissions
Ten admissions cycles on the committee side of the table
I managed the funding behind PhD offers, so I know how money shapes who gets admitted

The PhD-Ready Diagnostic
A free interactive tool that shows you where your application stands and what to focus on first. About twenty minutes, no cost, no account needed.
What it costs
Coaching runs from $150 an hour to $3,500 for full-cycle support. Most people land somewhere in between, and most don't need everything.
I don't write your materials. I give you feedback, structure, and strategy so the strongest version still sounds like you. And I can't promise an outcome, because nobody honestly can.
Application Roadmap Session- $225
90 minutes. Clarity on your direction, program list, and timeline. Best if you're early or stuck.
SOP or Research Statement Deep Review- $275
Feedback on clarity, fit, and positioning, plus a 20-minute debrief on what to fix first. Best if you have a draft.
Full-Cycle PhD Strategy- Regular rate $3,500 | Founding rate $2,000
Program list through final decisions. Faculty outreach, materials, interviews, funding offers. One rate covers every school you apply to.
Five founding spots for the 2026 cycle at $2,000. In exchange I ask for a written testimonial and permission to reference your experience. After those five, the rate is $3,500.
Faculty outreach sessions, CV review, mock interviews, hourly coaching, and bundles are also available. We'll figure out what you need on the call.
For context: Accepted.com charges $5,000 for comprehensive support on a single PhD application and $13,300 for eight. My rate covers your entire program list. (Published pricing, September 2026.)
Book a free call. Thirty minutes. If I’m not the right fit, I’ll point you in the right direction.
Optional: not ready for one-on-one? The PhD-Ready Diagnostic tool or workbook are a great place to start.
I can’t promise an outcome, and nobody honestly can. What I can give you is clarity and a real strategy, so you apply with confidence instead of guesswork.
