My background

I bring nearly two decades of experience in higher education, including extensive work inside graduate admissions and academic program operations. This includes supporting PhD admissions at UC Berkeley and within a joint UC Berkeley–UCSF doctoral program, where I worked closely with faculty committees, applicants, and leadership through complex, high-stakes decisions.

Having worked on both the institutional and applicant sides of admissions, I’ve seen where processes slow down, where uncertainty appears, and what actually helps people move forward with confidence. That perspective now informs my work.

How I approach the work

My approach is collaborative, grounded, and context-driven.

I don’t offer one-size-fits-all solutions or quick fixes. Instead, I help organizations and applicants slow down where it matters, ask better questions, and make decisions aligned with their goals. The aim is not just to solve immediate problems, but to support stronger outcomes over time.
